Hypertension Care Enhancement Course

This course offers a practical, evidence-based foundation in the understanding, diagnosis, and management of hypertension. It is tailored for Data Collectors, National Public Health Workers (NPHWs), and Graduate Junior Doctors, and aligns with the objectives of the Sudan National Program for Control and Prevention of Hypertension & Cardiovascular Diseases. The curriculum covers the full spectrum of hypertension pathophysiology, classification, assessment, diagnosis, complications, hypertension-mediated organ damage, management, and prevention. Participants will learn to apply current guidelines to real clinical situations and strengthen coordination between community and clinical teams to enhance screening, referral, and monitoring of hypertension across Sudan.
